ProcesOS /pɾoˈθeˌsos/ Noun
  1. 01 Spanish for “processes”.

Everything above this point claims that processes make a dependable foundation. Here it becomes checkable — on the entry we had to publish first, under the same publication rules as anybody else's.

How it is calculated

Task duration × the lane's hourly rate + task costs + system costs from the CMDB.

There is no public drill-down to individual tasks, and there will not be one: purchase prices and hourly rates do not leave the provider's workspace. What is shown is the method. What is shown as numbers is what each provider chooses to publish.

A payback period cannot be derived from public data at all — it needs the costs. What is public instead is how often the process has been rolled out.

Three of the six read data about the systems underneath. You have to own those systems before you can say anything about them, so inside somebody else's instance the inputs are simply absent. That is a statement about reach, not a lower mark — and it is read off the scoring code rather than produced by it.

Three levels of verification

A self-published entry standing on the lowest rung is not a flaw. It is the proof that the rungs are real.

  3. National Nationally certified and carried into the national blueprint database.

Two operating forms, each with its own path

This is a maturity path, not a price ladder. Whoever can do more themselves pays less — the opposite of the usual model, and the whole point of the product.

Workspace

Who does the work — mapping, governance, upskilling

  1. Stewarded A consultancy or partner places an engineer alongside you who maps the processes step by step. The way in: somebody else does it for you.
  2. Co-managed Usually a company with its regular managed service provider. The stated goal a stewarded workspace grows into.
  3. Sovereign Mapping, governance and upskilling sit in-house. The destination — and the cheapest form.

Four phases, four references

Every phase points at a diagram reference on the entry itself. Setup and Run are required before an entry exists at all; Change and Retire may be added, and an entry that has not modelled them shows the slot empty rather than pretending it is covered.

  1. Setup bound From nothing to running: systems, licences, roles, schedule.
  2. Run bound Operating the approved target state.
  3. Change bound From the frozen state to the agreed one, and back to a frozen state.
  4. Retire bound Winding a capability down because it is no longer needed.

Entries fork, and a fork keeps its origin

An entry adapted for another region stays attached to the one it came from. Certification is not the end of the line: other places take an entry over, adapt it, and certify it themselves.

The path a capability takes
